KCS v6 Certification Digital Badges are live!

While the Consortium for Service Innovation has been pursuing service excellence with Members for 30 years now, the KCS v6 certifications through the KCS Academy (the only certifying body for KCS) have been available for just about six years. To date, there are over 5700 people certified in KCS v6 worldwide!

To properly acknowledge the people who have achieved their KCS v6 Certification, we have partnered with Credly, the leading Digital Badge provider. Invitations to claim your badge went out on February 7; if you haven’t received yours, contact us!

Currently, digital badges are offered for folks who have been certified in KCS v6 Fundamentals, KCS v6 Practices, and KCS v6 Trainers. More information about the program can be found on our Digital Badge page, and KCS v6 certified people who have accepted their badge can be found in the new directory.

Not only are KCS certified people located all over the globe, but we are seeing people from many different roles and industries getting certified. Beyond customer service management and IT service management, we are seeing folks in HR, facilities, legal, and other internal service functions earning KCS certifications, while interest in and use of KCS has expanded from high tech to banking, healthcare, hospitality, and universities, to name a few.

We are excited to continue to support the understanding and growth of KCS through these certifications and formalizing a way to share them!

If you don’t see the invite there, please email support@thekcsacademy.net with any information you can recall from when you took the certification (past company name, email, or alternate names). We will get you sorted out!
