Intended Audience:

Large fortune 500 companies with multiple divisions for whom the work of the Consortium is relevant and who would like to have multiple people participating in both the strategic and operational levels of the work. Benefactors are often the early adopters of the methodologies and have significant influence over the definition and development of the concepts.

Benefits:

Executive Participants

Benefactors identify two executives to be included in Executive level conversations (with other Consortium member executives) about key strategic issues and insights.

Executive Briefings

The Executive Participants are eligible for two on-site briefings/workshops per year. These briefings are for the Executives and their staffs to review the latest thinking and experience from the Consortium and to assess the relevance to the company's strategy. The briefing will cover principles and practices, and most importantly, lessons learned. The briefings offer an opportunity to bring an outside perspective to the strategic planning process of the member companies and can be set up to coincide with the planning process of the member company.

Executive Summit Participation

Benefactor membership includes two (2) seats at the Consortium Executive Summit. We host one to two Executive Summits per year. The Executive Summit enables senior level executives from the member companies to get together and discuss the challenges they face and the possible solutions or approaches to deal with those challenges. The outcome of the Executive Summit is critical in defining the scope and direction of the work of the Program Teams.

Program Team Seats

Unlimited participation in the Consortium's Program Teams. The Program Teams are the groups that develop and validate the practices that support the principles. Participants in the team are Directors and Global Program Managers who are responsible for the implementation of the practices within their respective companies. They participate in the definition of the operational elements, early adopter and pilot activities and refine the methods based on their collective experiences. The teams' work is done through conference calls and remote collaboration as well as occasional face-to-face meetings.

New Benefactor Opportunity Assessment

In the first year as a Benefactor member, the company is entitled to an Opportunity Assessment. This assessment will provide a comparison of the current practices within the company and the Consortium's models for knowledge management, automated problem reporting (using the exchange standards) and customer engagement/interaction models. The assessment is conducted by a Consortium staff member through on-site interviews and a review of available reports and performance metrics. The deliverable from the assessment will identify areas that are aligned to the principles and practices as well as specific areas where there are opportunities to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiencies of the organization.

Annual Fee

The annual fee for Benefactor level membership is $41,000.
