Member Activities

Participation opportunities depend on your membership level. Choose the level appropriate for your business goals.

Program Team Meetings

Interactive working sessions focused on specific topics or challenges identified by the members and encourage evolving models and operational processes. Participants in the team are Directors and Global Program Managers who are responsible for the implementation of the practices within their respective companies. They participate in the definition of the operational elements, early adopter and pilot activities and refine the methods based on their collective experiences. The team(s) work is done through conference calls and remote collaboration as well as occasional face-to-face meetings.

  • Hosted at member sites, or conference calls on specific topics
  • 1-2 team meetings per quarter
  • Generally attended by managers and directors from the member support organizations (the specific person attending varies based on the topic of the meeting)
  • Members decide which team meetings to attend and how many people to send based on the relevance of the topic and how many seats at team meetings they are entitled to

Executive Summit

We host one to two Executive Summits per year. The Executive Summit is focussed on considering emerging trends in the support industry and enables senior level executives from member companies to get together and discuss the challenges they face and the possible solutions or approaches to deal with those challenges. The outcome of the Executive Summit is critical in defining the scope and direction of the work of the Program Teams.

  • Held annually in the Spring
  • Attendees are senior executives responsible for support organizations

Executive Briefings

Executive Briefings are for executives and their staffs to review the latest thinking and experience from the Consortium and to assess the relevance to the company's strategy. Briefings cover principles and practices, and most importantly, lessons learned. This is an opportunity to bring an outside perspective to the strategic planning process of member companies and can be set up to coincide with their planning processes.

Member Summit

Conference with presentation and interactive discussions. The member summits are focussed on reviewing the work of program teams and discussing future focus areas.

  • Typically hosted at hotel setting
  • Held annually in the Fall
  • Attendees are individuals responsible for management and direction of customer support organizations

Leadership Committee

Meeting with presentations and interactive discussions focused on electing Consortium Board of Directors, reviewing scope, focus and direction of program teams, and Developing the Leadership for Service Excellence framework.

  • Hosted at member site
  • Held annually, with periodic phone calls
  • Attendees include 1 representative from each Sponsor and Benefactor member
