KCS Verified v4--Tools
The Consortium has developed a list of minimum functional criteria and a set of scenarios through which vendors demonstrate their tools' ability to support the latest version of the KCS practices. The program is open to all vendors who supply knowledge management functionality. The KCS Verified v4 designation is for major releases of products which successfully complete the KCS Verified v4 process. Membership in the Consortium is not a pre-requisite, however, for those companies who are members, there are additional benefits such as participation in the KCS program team and the opportunity to publish joint case studies.
KCS Certified Trainers
KCS is gaining in popularity and credibility. As the market demand grows so does the variation in how people define KCS, which in turn threatens the credibility of the methodology. The KCS Certified Trainer program, offered by the KCS Academy, is an attempt to support the growing rate of adoption and maintain consistency with the most current definition of the KCS practices. Additionally, we see mutual benefit in supporting the success of those who offer legitimate KCS training and services.
The KCS Certified Trainer program is for individual trainers who meet the KCS Certified Trainer criteria.
